Field Season 2023: Getting a bit back to normal

Our field season this summer will be a bit more like the pre-pandemic AVP, and we will be running from July 5 until July 31. We are finally able to welcome back our international volunteers through the Volunteers for Peace program! The last VFP group we had was in summer 2019... Stay tuned for more information on scheduling coming up soon! Come and volunteer with us this summer, or just visit a while. Everyone is welcome.

Hi Mr. Howard. I live in the township of Napoli ny not far from the AVP and have found clay aa well as stone artifacts here. Is there a way to pm you and ask a couple questions? Would like to visit the AVP this summer to learn how a dig operates correctly. My items have been brought to the surface by plow but retrieved over several acres so I assume this was a fairly good sized and well used camp over time.
